Draft Letter to Jewish Synagogue

Dear Congregation :

The congregation of (your church ) in cooperation with Rocky Mountain Friends of Israel, wishes to extend our deepest sympathies to our Jewish neighbors in this season of Holocaust
Awareness.  We are grieved by the hostile actions of persons or nations that claim the "Christian" term throughout history. Please be assured that our congregation actively opposes any potential anti-semitic developments in the government of this free land of ours.

Without the promotion of Zionism we also are concerned that the nation of Israel continue to thrive securely as a free nation.  To express our sympathies, seek explanations, and propose
solutions to the problem of anti-semitism we are having a Holocaust Memorial Service on (date and time) at our facilities.  Please accept our warmest invitation to join us as we "remember
them -- lest they die in vain".

Refreshments and discussion following.
