APN -- Making your notebook a "House of Prayer "

...You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house,
a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
1Pe_2:5

Isaiah 56: (v1) This is what the Lord says: ...

[to Israel, of them]

(v7) I will bring them to My holy mountain

and let them rejoice in My house of prayer.

Their burnt offerings and sacrifices

will be acceptable on My altar,

for My house will be called

a house of prayer for all nations.”

(v8) This is the declaration of the Lord God,

who gathers the dispersed of Israel:

“I will gather to them

still others besides those already gathered.”

This familiar passage creates a beautiful word "picture."
While it is emphasizing the Lord's desire that Israel have a common to everyone Nation in the millennium,
it is assuredly not omitting a tangent blessing and truth about prayer itself.
Word pictures are quite common in scripture.
Bread of life, Rock of our salvation, fortress, shield, horn and many others communicate ideas
through objects we can see in the mind's eye that becomes vivid transcending concepts.

In studying prayer we'd like to make some biblical observations about prayer and houses!

We'd like to plan to illustrate each room with scriptural relational content.
