Principle 1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is without error. The Bible is the final authority of faith and life. People who reject the Bible will also reject God. God is Love: 1 John 4:7 "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God."

A. Jesus was with God in Glory and Love in Eternity Past: John 17:5 "And now, O Father, glorify You Me with Your own self with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was." V-24 "Father, I will that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which You have given Me: for You loved Me before the foundation of the world."

Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth."V-27 "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them." Genesis 2:7 "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. ". Mankind created for Glory of God: Isaiah 43:7 "Even every one that is called by My name: I have created him for My glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him."

Man sinned and died a spiritual death which is separation from God. So all human beings are born with sinful nature. Gen 2:16 "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou may freely eat:" V-17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof thou shall surely die."

Genesis 3:6 " And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat."

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

C. The Love of God for Humanity in Eternity Past: . 1. Plan of God for Jesus to die as ransom for sin as perfect eternal sacrifice: 1Pet 1:18: As you know that you were not redeemed with perishable things as silver and gold from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers; V-19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish, without spot. V-20 who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world but was revealed in these last times for you. . 2. God chose us in Him: Eph 1:4: He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world that we should be, holy and without blame before you in love. V-5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself according to the good pleasure of His will Rom 8:29: "..to be conformed to the image of his Son.". . 3. Dispensation: An administration in a period of time when God gives certain conditions to determine if people will remain faithful to Him under those conditions.

God was putting the world in line for the Promised Redeemer - "the seed of a woman"

DISPENSATION B - OLD TESTAMENT: LAW BY MOSES – John 1:17 "The law came by Moses but truth and grace came from Jesus Christ."

Deuteronomy 28:1 "And it shall come to pass, if you shall listen diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments which I command you this day, that the LORD your God will set you on high above all nations of the earth; V-2 "And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall listen unto the voice of the LORD your God." Rom 3:20 "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin." .

Focus on Israel: Deut 7:8-10; 10:12. Deut 7:8 But because the LORD loved you, and because He would keep the oath which He had sworn unto your fathers, has the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of slavery.. V-9 Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God which keeps covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to 1000 generations. V-10 And repays them that hate Him to their face, to destroy them. MOSAIC COVENANT :Law sin – death of Creator by creation Law Fulfilled

Exodus 19:4 "You have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, & how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself." V-5 "Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:" V-6 "And you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Israel." V-7 "And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him." V-8 "And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD."

Deuteronomy 30:1 "And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, where the LORD your God has driven you," V-2 "And shall return unto the LORD your God, and shall obey His voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul;" V-3 "That then the LORD your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion upon you, and will return and gather you from all the nations, where the LORD your God has scattered you." DAVIDIC COVENANT: Kingdom –revolt Eternal Kingdom

2 Samuel 7:12 "And when your days be fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you.. and I will establish his kingdom." V-16 "And your house and your kingdom shall be established for ever."

This promise was for the Jews to be united and receive their promised Messiah & King at His 2^nd coming. However, the Church participates in this promise today. God will make a new covenant with mankind by extending grace to the Gentiles. God would call out a people for Himself from all nations of the earth to be the bride of Christ: Rev 21:1-9.

NEW COVENANT: Grace Reestablish Relationship with God

Jeremiah 31:31 "Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah." V-32 "Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which My covenant they broke, although I was a husband unto them, says the LORD:" V-33 "But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people." V-34 "And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." Zech 14:5 "And the LORD my God shall come and all the saints with Thee. V-9And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: one Lord and His name one."

3. The Love of God by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ.

Principle 4. The Lord Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus Christ was 100% God and 100% man.

"And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end." V-35 "…The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that Holy Thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God."

B. The Love of God in sending His Own Son, Jesus Christ

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Hebrews 1:2 "(He) has in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds." V-3"Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;"

Matthew 4:17 "From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Matthew 23:37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill the prophets, and stones them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!"

John 1:29 "(When John saw Jesus coming, he said) Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world."

Galatians 3:24 "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. V-25 "But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster."

Ephesians 1:7 "In whom we have redemption through the blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace."

Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" V-9 "Not of works lest any man should boast." V-10 "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

Romans 6:14 "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace."

Romans 3:22 "Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:"

Luke 24:49 "And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry you in the city of Jerusalem, until you be endued with power from on high."

Holy Spirit is God: Acts 5:3 "But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?" V-4 "..you have not lied to men, but unto God."

He convicts of sin: John 16:8 "And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment." V-9 "Of sin, because they believe not on Me;" V-10 "Of righteousness, because I go to My Father, and ye see Me no more;" V-11 "Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged." . He reveals Christ: John 15:26 "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father, He shall testify of me:"

He comforts us: John 14:17 "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him: but you know Him; for He dwells with you and shall be in you

He teaches us truth: John 14:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 16:13 "When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come." V-14 "He shall glorify Me for He shall receive of mine, and shall show it to you. V-15 All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, that He shall take of mine, and show it unto you.

He strengthens us: In Prayer: Roman 8:27 And He that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God." In Service: Acts 4:31 "And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the Word of God with boldness." In Worship: John 4:24 "God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."

B. The Love of God in Focus on the Church – mystery through the ages: How is God going to redeem/save mankind?

(Ephesians 1:18 "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened: that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, V-19 And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, V-20 Which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places,")

Ephesians 3:6 "That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body and partakers of His promise in Christ by the gospel. V-9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in God, who created all things by Christ Jesus: V-10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, V-21 "Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen"

Colossians 1:27 "To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" . Romans 11:25 "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in."

C. Love of God in Relationship with Him: Galatians 4:5 "To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. V-6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba Father. V-7 So you are no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." . .

Rom 8:16 "The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God."

1John 3:1 "Behold what manner of love the Father has toward us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not. V-2 Beloved.. when He shall appear, we shall be like Him: for we shall see Him as He is. V-3 And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as He is pure." . John 17:3 "And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. V-20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their words; V-21 That they all may be one; as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be One in Us: that the world may believe that You have sent Me. V-22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them; that they may be One, even as We are One. D. How do we have a right relationship with God? . 1. A personal relationship with God begins when we accept Christ as Savior: Salvation:

Romans 10:9 "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." V-13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Acts 16:31"..They said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, & your house."

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on His name. V-13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 10:28 "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand." V-29 "My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father’s hand."

Col 1:13 Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us unto the king-dom of His dear Son: V-14 In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins:"

2. We receive the Holy Spirit:

John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Titus 3:5 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;" V-6 "Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior;"

I Peter 1:23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever."

Eph 1:13 In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise. V-14 Which is the deposit of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.

1John 4:13 "We know we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit."

2 Corinthians 3:18 "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."

3. We follow Christ in baptism to identify with death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ: Rom 6:4 "Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.( V-5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection:) One testifies of the reality of conversion & future resurrection.

4. You become a member of a Church. You are the Body of Christ to function in one Spirit of harmony: 1 Cor 12:13 "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, Jew or Gentile, slave or free, and have all been made to drink into one Spirit." . 5. You are the Church to be the Bride of Christ: Eph 5:25 "Husbands love your wives even as Christ also loved the Church, and gave Himself for it. V-26 That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, V-27 That He might present it to Himself a glorious Church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. God instituted marriage and defined it as the covenant relationship between a man, a woman, and God Himself. Matthew 19:4 "And He answered and said unto them, Have you not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female." V-5 "And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they both shall be one flesh?" V-6 "Wherefore they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put down." Marriage is a picture of the relationship between Christ and the Church.

6. Love God; Love one another: Matt 22:37 "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. V-39 And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. V-40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

7. Then God wants you to grow in likeness and knowledge of Jesus: 2 Pet 3:18 Grow in

grace, and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever. Amen." (1 Cor 2:12 Now we have received , not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God." The Holy Spirit guides us; The Bible teaches us truth: John 8:31 ..Continue in My word, then are you my disciples indeed;" V-32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.")

E. The Love of God on you: The Church: A group of people in right relationship with God. How will you respond to that great love realizing your position in the plan of God?

Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." V-2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good, & acceptable, & perfect will of God."

2 Corinthians 6:17 "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you," V-18 "And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."

Gal 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me."

F. The Love of God brings you victory in Jesus Christ: 1 Cor 15:57 "But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

1. Victory over the Flesh: 1 Pet 2:22 who did no sin, neither was deceit found in His mouth: V-23 who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously.". Galatians 5:16 "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

2. Victory over the Devil 1 John 3:8 "For this purpose the Son of God was revealed, that He might destroy the works of the devil." Heb 2:14 "(through His death) He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil;" James 4:7 "Submit yourselves unto God, Resist the devil and he will flee."1 John 4:4 "..You have overcome them, because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world." 5:18 "We know that whosoever is born of God sins not: but he keeps himself, the wicked one touches him not.

3. Overcome the World John 16:33 "In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." 1 John 4:14 "And we have seen and do testify that the father sent the Son to b the Savior of the world," 1 John 5:1 "Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.. V-4 "For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith." V-5 "Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God."

Each covenant reveals principles by which God will relate with humanity. In spite of His mercy, long-suffering & undying love, man failed in every dispensation.

Innocence: 2 Cor 5:21 "For He (God) has made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him."

Conscience: Acts 24:16 "Have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and towards man." (Holy Spirit give clear conscience – depart from wickedness)

Human gov: Matt 22:37-40 Live by God’s perfect law of love.

Promise Gal 3:29 "And if you be Christ’s, then are you Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Law: Matt 5:17 "Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I am not come to destroy but to fulfill."

Kingdom: 2 Tim 4:18 "And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom.." . James 2:5 "Listen my beloved brother, has not God chosen the poor of this world, rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He has promised to them who love Him" Heb 12:28 "Wherefore we receive a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.

Rom 14:8 "For whether we live, we live unto the Lord: and whether we die, we die unto the Lord, whether we live therefore or die, we are the Lord’s. Amen."

Conclusion: Genesis 6:5 Men’s hearts are only evil continually. But thanks be to God, throughout all ages: the blood of Jesus Christ is the only hope and remedy to set men free from the old "Adam" nature with its inborn sin and guilt and rebellion against God.
