A Call from God; A Purpose to Live
We must pray for each other as we seek God's will in all things. Are you
counting your blessings?
[Health] I am thankful for [3] good reports on 1st eye procedure to remove scar
tissue from the eye, knee injection therapy and treatment for an extensive lower
left side blood clot.[It extended from hip to foot!]
Let us pray that God would
send revival for America and new life in Jesus for Haiti, and the needs of the
people to be met appropriately and adequately. God loves the people of Haiti and
they are receptive to hear The Gospel. I must, as long as I am able, do what I
can to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them. So while I take care of medical
issues here, and during continued unrest, corruption and violence in streets of
Port-au-Prince Haiti, Our Evangelism team continues to spread the gospel in the
Les Cayes area.
Enclosed are photos in July-August: of street evangelism in Les Cayes:

Enclosed is a message "I have Called
You by My Name and Created You for My
Glory"
May God Bless us all. Mary

I Have Called You by My Name and Created You for My Glory
I came from America: Land of Plenty. I come with deteriorating eyesight,
hearing, walking & failing
ability to learn the Haitian Creole language.
But I come in the name of the Lord our God & Creator with His great message in
His Word in
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world..” For God so loves you and everyone else
very much the same.
Amen? (Look at those around you.) Shouldn’t we love them too? How much does God
Care?
Isaiah 42:1 “But now thus saith the LORD that created thee.. I have called thee
by My name, thou art
mine.” How blessed we are that our God, who formed us, loves us & wants to be
involved in our lives.
But what about all the troubles, trials, corruption & suffering we endure? What
does God say?
Isaiah 42:2-5 “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee: and
through the rivers, they
shall not overflow thee: When thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be
burned; neither shall the
flames kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy
Savior: .. Since
thou was precious in My sight, thou hast been honorable, and I have loved thee..
Fear not for I am
with thee. Vs. 7 Even everyone that is called by My name: for I have created him
for My Glory;
I have formed him; yea, I have made him.”
Isaiah 42:10-13 “..I am He: before Me there was no god formed neither shall
there be after Me. I
even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no savior. I have declared, and have
saved and have
showed.. therefore ye are My witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. Yea,
before the day was, I
am He; there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I will work and who shall
let ( hinder) it?”
It was Jesus who warned us of an enemy who would steal what we have in God: in
John 10:10 “Jesus
said, ‘The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
I am come that they may have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
How about you? Are you on God’s side? Do you want the abundant life He offers as
LORD of your life?
The enemy will tell you that you can’t right now. But God says in the Bible,
that all things are possible
with Him. Who will you believe? How can you have the abundant life He offers?
Start at the beginning:
Truth
1. God: our LORD and Creator of All Good:
Rev 4:11 “Thou art worthy, O LORD to receive glory and honor and power:
For Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were
created.”
God is the one true living LORD of all that He created and He rules with
generosity
and justice. God chose mankind to take care of the world and be responsible for
it as we
Gave thanks and honored Him as LORD over all. What happened?
Truth
2. The Rebellion of Mankind Against Our LORD God: Sin
Isa 53:6a “All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned everyone to his own way..”
Everything that goes wrong is because of choices mankind has made.
We rejected God as LORD; We didn’t thank Him for being our generous Creator and
Provider; We are our
own little god selfishly trying to change the world & other people according to
our will. Self-rule will fail.
Truth
3. What will God do about our Rebellion Against Him? God’s Justice:
Heb 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die,
but after this the judgment.”
We are accountable to God for dishonoring Him, for treating others poorly &
ruining
His world. The judgment is death. We will face Him at a judgment day when He
will give the unsaved
what they want: separation from Him: the source of life & good things forever.
We are all guilty of
rebellion against God. Heb 10:31 “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands
of the living God.”
Truth
4. God sent Jesus Christ the Lord to die for us.
Isa 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to
his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world (you) that He gave His only begotten
Son (Jesus Christ) that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish (shall
not be left to suffer the consequences of his rebellion), but have everlasting
life.”
Jesus, thankful, honoring & obeying God in all things, loved us and died in our
place on the cross.
Truth
5. Jesus is our Risen Lord and Savior
1Pet 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which
according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by
the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
God accepted Jesus’ death as payment in full for our sins & raised Him from the
dead as Lord & judge
of all. Jesus is Savior for all who trusting in Him ask for forgiveness of sin
and receive new life in Him.
John 3:36 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life and he that
believeth not the Son shall
not see life but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
Do you want this new life that Jesus offers to us, His: to be called by His name
“Christian” or child of
God? In this new life that Jesus offers, God Himself comes to live within us by
His Spirit so we can
experience the joy of a new restored relationship with the LORD God and our
Creator.
Come to Him through faith in Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Rom 10: 9-10, 13 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For
with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation. For whosoever
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Our Heavenly Father and
Creator says,
‘I have called you by name and created you for My Glory. Will you come?’
2Thes1:11-12 “Wherefore also we pray always for you that our God would count you
worthy of this
calling and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith
and power: that the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you and you in Him, according
to the grace of
our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Jesus with a heart filled with love says, Just "come unto Me,"
What holds us back to come unto Jesus? Could it be that monster called self
pride, the Bible teaches us against?
In a hard time of suffering, unrest, high costs and shortage of food and
gasoline, Pastor Prince led his congregation, Church of the Assembly of the
Redeemed in Jesus Christ, in 40 days of worship. They closed this time with a
project to visit and feed the 900 prisoners crowded into the jail in Les Cayes.
Friends in America sponsored the event of love.
Enclosed are photos.#1-3.

"Encouraging Evangelism" according to Christ's command, Matt 24:14 "And this
gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come." for Jesus message: to every person, "Come
unto Me." ( Enclosed message)."all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I
will give you rest." God is good all the time. May we stay close to Him and His
goodness, Mary

“Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you
rest.”
Matt 11:28
Why is there so much corruption, unrest and violence? Things were difficult in
time of Jesus too.
In Matt 14:13 Jesus had just heard of the beheading (murder) of John the
Baptist, His cousin. “...He
departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard
thereof, they
followed Him on foot out of the cities.”
How would you feel if the government had just killed your cousin? Jesus just
wanted to be alone to talk
with His Father, God, His LORD whom He always obeyed.
Truth 1. God is a good LORD and Creator.
V-14 “And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with
compassion toward
them, and He healed their sick.”
V-15-18 “And when it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, ‘This is a
desert place, and
the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the
villages, and buy them-
selves victuals (food).’ But Jesus said unto them, ‘They need not depart; give
ye them to eat.’ And
they said unto Him, ‘We have but five loaves and two fishes.’ He said, ‘Bring
them hither to Me.’”
V-19-21 “And He commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the
five loaves, and
the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and brake, and gave the
loaves to the disciples,
and the disciples to the multitude. And they all did eat, and were filled: and
they took up of the
fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about
5000 men besides
women and children.”
V-22-23 “And straightway Jesus constrained His disciples to get into a ship, and
to go before Him
unto the other side, while He sent the multitude away. And when He had sent the
multitude away,
He went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, He was
alone.”
V-24-25 “But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves, for
the wind is contrary.
And in the 4th watch (3-6 AM) of the night, Jesus (Christ) went unto them
walking on the water.”
V-26-28 “And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled,
saying, ‘It is a
spirit;’ and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them,
saying, ‘Be of good
cheer; it is I; be not afraid.’ And Peter answered Him and said, ‘Lord if it be
Thou, bid me come
unto Thee on the water.’”
Truth 2. All Mankind are in Rebellion Against God: Sin: Rejecting/Doubting God;
following our
own way as god of our own lives.
Truth 3. We may not Realize: God will Judge our Rebellion Against Him. The
penalty is death:
separation from God forever. We fear that death. But yet Peter speaks up, “Lord
if it be Thou, bid me
come unto Thee on the water.”
V-29 “And He said, ‘Come.’”
Truth 4. God sent Jesus to die for us.
Truth 5. Jesus would rise the 3rd day as Lord and Savior.
He calls us to believe in Him, call on Him as our Lord and Savior and follow
Him.
Will you come? God loves you so much, He has planned during all eternity to
bring you back to Himself.
Jesus His Son loves you so much, He sacrificed Himself for you by paying your
penalty for sin on the
cross. Will you believe, put your trust in Him and come forward to be saved by
faith in Jesus Christ?
To come to God means you are willing to make a change from yourself being Lord
of your life to
letting God your Creator be Lord of your life who as He is working out His great
plan, wants to include
you in that wonderful plan of the ages. There will be changes to make when you
get out of the boat of
what you always knew to follow Jesus when you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and
Savior of your life. Peter
had to make a change and leave the security he knew and come down out of the
ship.
V-29 “..And when Peter was come down out of the ship (with His eyes looking unto
Jesus) he walked
on the water to go to Jesus.”
Heb 12:1-2 “Wherefore seeing we are compressed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses (Bible
heroes of the past who lived by faith), let us lay aside every weight, and the
sin which doth so easily
beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us (God’s
plan for our life), looking
unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set
before Him endured the
cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of
God.” (Coming again).
When we believe and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior we are not perfect but we
are saved. Praise God!
What could be more important than being in right relationship with our perfect,
just, holy and loving
Creator? Nothing! But Peter took his eyes off Jesus to the wind and waves, the
storms of life.
V-30 “But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid, and beginning to sink,
he cried, saying,
‘Lord save me.’” “Lord save me!”
Are you at a desperate point in your life? God has not been first in your life.
Doing things your own way
leaves you in a desperate situation. And you need help? Your loving God and your
Savior Jesus Christ are
waiting for your call: “Lord, save me.”
Will you come? Will you call on Jesus to save you? If you have already accepted
Christ as your Lord
and Savior, will you call on the Lord to help you through your trials? Come
forward and let a counselor
pray with you. Please come. Jesus is waiting for you.
V-31 “And immediately Jesus stretched His hand and caught him (Peter)..” Oh if
Jesus were here to
take your hand and rescue you from the trials of life. Jesus is here within
every born-again believer now
and forever. Do you want to put all your faith in Him to save you? To help you?
Come to Jesus now.
V-31 “...Jesus says, ‘O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?’”
V-32 “And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.”
Jesus brought Peter back into the safety of the boat. It was a miracle among
many: the wind ceased.
Jesus solved all their problems. They just needed to put all their faith and
trust in Him.
And He can do that for you, according to His perfect will. Jesus says to the
believer:
Heb 13:5-6 “..I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly
say, The Lord is my
helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”
Now just as Jesus has compassion for any person that comes to Him, He cares
about you. Come.
With Jesus we must care for one another. As Jesus took the hand of the sinking
Peter, let’s take the
hand of those next to you. Jesus is with us if you gather in His name. He says,
“O you of little faith,
why do you doubt?” Let’s agree hand in hand, by faith to love and trust God and
help each other.
Isa 43:7 “Even everyone that is called by My name: for I have created him for My
Glory; I have
formed him; yea, I have made him.” We will see what God will do for His Glory.
Eph 3:21 “Unto Him be Glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages,
world without
end. Amen.” Matt 11:28, Jesus says, Just “Come unto Me.”
