Mary Davis Ministering Christ in South Western Haiti

In answer to prayer to work with a Baptist church in Haiti AND along south-west coast hit by Hurricane Matthew Oct. 5, 2016, God has made a way.
PTL.

Riding through that area by motorcycle one day a week seeing the people struggle so, for food, for shelter, to survive, I said, if I had a place to stay here and a translator, I would be glad to work in this area and just see what God would do.

Two years ago I spoke at a pastor's conference with Pastor Prince translator, on Evangelism and Discipleship and shared my experience of going house to house in Haiti.

On October 10th of this year, Pastor Amos, a pastor of Rache-a-Bateau, recognized us there, in the rain and invited us to speak at his Baptist church Sunday October 15 on Encouraging Evangelism.

We did and met on Tuesday October 17 with 12 members in 2 teams for evangelism in a mountain across road from the church and the sea. There were 9 salvation decisions.

Pastor Amos leads a coalition of 12 area churches and is president of a mission of 300 churches in 3 of the 10 departments in Haiti. With a translator, I am in the process of speaking at each one on Encouraging Evangelism and following with a day of evangelism with members of the church.

I am excited about this opportunity and pray other soul winners will come join us. Pastor Amos has guest rooms in his house and has offered them to us. We can do what God has called us to do: Go: Make Disciples, Baptize them, and Teach them what our Lord commanded us to do.

We also want to hold crusades in this depressed community. We are praying to have a traveling sound system to take place to place. This draws the people to come who would not go to a church. The church and house where I will live need a generator for electricity.

A monthly gift to Mary4Haiti would help us to bless churches we speak at with Bibles, food, shoes, clothes, construction materials to repair their homes, and trees and garden plants as a source for food.
Wow! We could give them hope and help make a difference in their lives.

Philippians 4:17 "Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account."
Psalm 103:22 ''Bless the LORD, all His works in all places of His dominion:
Bless the LORD, O my soul.”

In Haiti 011-509-4872-9701 Love of God can Change the World - Tell It
I. God is Love and our Almighty Loving God created us in His image and wants a relationship with us.
a. A personal relationship with God begins with accepting Christ as your Savior: Salvation.
b. Then baptism to identify with the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ & testify your faith in Him.
c. Then God wants yoiu to grow in likeness (grace) and knowledge of Him. 2 Peter 3:18; 1 Cor. 2:12
The Holy Spirit guides us. The Bible teaches us truth. John 17:17, 3, 21
How exciting that we can know God who is love, holy and just, and be one with Him.
We become more like Him as His disciple:
John 8:31 "Continue in my love"
John 13:35 "have love one for another"
We are the Body of Christ to function in a Spirit of Harmony. We are the Church to be the Bride of Christ.
Christ loved the Church so much, He gave Himself for it. Should not we give our life for Him as we come together to: Worship Him, Glorify him, Grow in Grace and Knowledge of Him, Loving Him and Loving One Another?

II. AND the Church is the Means God Uses to Take the Gospel to the World.
Matt. 28:19, 20: Go, Make Disciples, Baptizing them, and Teaching them to observe what He commanded.
We are to Go Tell this Good News the same way we heard it, were baptized, and were taught:
*That Jesus died to pay for our sins
*That He rose from the dead
*That He offers forgiveness to all who trust Him as Savior
We are commanded to Go and Tell. The Gospel is committed to our trust. 1 Tim.1:11; 2 Tim.2:2.

Demonstration to present the Gospel with the Wordless Book:
1. Gold Page: John 3:16 God loves you. John 14:2,3 He is preparing a place for you. Rev. 21:21 with streets of gold.
2. Black Page: Rom. 3:23; 6:23 Everyone is a sinner. Sin has a price to be paid.
3. Red Page: Rom. 5:8 Jesus Christ died for your sin. He died for us.
4. White Page: Rom. 10:13 You can put your faith in Jesus Christ and ask Him to save you. Would you like to do that?
5. Green Page 2 Peter 3:18 Grass is green and Grows. God wants the new believer, John 1:12 His child, to grow, to:
Worship Him together in Church, Pray-confess sins, Read & Obey the Bible which teaches us to Love God with all our heart and soul and to love and forgive others as he did us, and to tell others so they can trust in Christ and be right with God too. When we do these things, we will grow in our faith and be living pleasing to God so that he can bless our lives and we can be a blessing to Him.

III. A Right Relationship with God makes a Difference for Eternity. We should live today in light of Eternity.
Titus 2:11-15 Difficulties in this life will not last forever. By faith and trust in Jesus Christ we will pass into eternity with God.
We MUST Tell Others, give the Gospel, so they can have Eternal life and be right with their God too.
Paul said in Phil. 4:14, "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ."
1 John 5:1, 4; 1 Cor. 15:57, 58; Rev. 21:7.
Praise Him! Glorify Him! Love Him! Tell It! Live your Victory in Christ for all Eternity. Amen.

2016 Report: 225 Decisions for Christ in 7 months

Otherwise three months in USA with family and friends; May was rainy season; October-hurricane Matthew recovery.
In November I suffered a fractured wrist from a motorcycle mishap while taking discipleship lessons to a mountain church in Camp Perrin.
I have just regained use of my wrist and am retraining my fingers to work.
We are blessed to enlarge our evangelism ministry to transport ministry teams in a car provided by a friend of Pastor Prince in Florida.
There will be an additional expense to maintain it.
As we prepare to contact the churches we have been involved with before the hurricane, to determine their current needs and
to continue in evangelism and discipleship with them, we are struggling because we have very little additional resources to help them.
I praise the Lord I could come to Haiti self-supported by USA Social Security. However to be a blessing to our Haitian brothers and sisters,
we ask for your prayers for their needs: food, building materials to rebuild homes & churches, ministry auto maintenance, tracts and Bibles.
I came to Haiti with purpose to show a poverty stricken country that GOD loves them and the need to trust HIM in every situation; that our faith in GOD is real- to live for and be willing to die for. “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” We all need GOD’s vision: To gather a holy devoted people in complete fellowship with HIM “as ONE” in the image of HIS GLORY. Amen. PRAISE THE LORD! Mary 4 GOD in Haiti
