Carmody Jr. High School was built to be finished by academic year 1966-67, 
and incorporated a new classroom setting that was called "modular" instructional classes, 
classrooms without walls at the back side of each room. Each module was situated in a pod. 
This school was administered by an excellent educator, Dr. Joseph Perrito. 
The organization and high standards set forth in this handbook are exemplary of his outstanding call as administrator.
I was most blessed to attend and be the first class graduating after the third year of this "Junior High" School. 
The public school environment of this year would do well to study the success of this project for the volatile junior high school ages.
