CT Lanyons 2008This Letter was sent to our Missionaries at Christmas, 2008
Dear Friends, I thank God for every remembrance of you. I pray that He will keep you safe and bless you with peace in your heart. Pat is faithful with the rest home ministry. He does a lot for Bernie, (Hebrew Christian) (90yr.). We went to Ohio in August and saw my mother(85). Her heart makes her tired, but she has a sweet spirit. She went with us to the Creation Museum in Cincinatti, Ohio. They had wax figures telling the story of Adam and Eve to the flood. There was even a scene of the ark being built. We watched a film about the flood and our seats vibrated as we were sprinkled with water. There was also a petting zoo with unusual animals. We helped my sister with the Child Evangelism booth at a fair. It was fun. We had a constant flow of children. Joseph still fixes or puts together bikes for anybody in our church. He has a servant’s heart at church. David helps my husband on various jobs. He is doing a Bible course through Bob Jones. I am thankful to God for strength for each day. I painted the garage this fall. We also worked on the basement. We are soon to have a revival at church! Love, (Maranatha-He comes) Pat, Christine, David, & Joseph Lanyon |
