Dear Friends and Family,

Greetings to you from the CT Lanyon Family!

This election year found us busy and adapting to new times for home, family church and nation. We are sadly seeing freedoms leave our beloved land. But as I preached on last Sunday in our monthly nursing home service, Luke 1: 45 nkjv "Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord."

Over 70 times the English word for fulfillment appears in the KJV New Testament emphasizing one clear truth in these troubling times: What God promised HE WILL FULFILL! Living in America is still a blessing and we must take full advantage of every hour to seek Him (Isa 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:) and trust (Isa 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near... )His sovereign control while we exercise "godliness" (1 Tim 4.7-8) After seeing the results of our election, I realized it is high time to spread the gospel so I have printed 4 tracts, 2 are close reprints and 2 are new now in print. See them at www.aprayernotebook.net/tracts I pray that many will read them and find Him as personal savior.

As I write, my dear friend Br. Bernie Meisler, is seeing his last days as cancer of the Lung ravages his 90 year old body. We have rejoiced to see the simple faith of this old man with a new heart as of 2003. He is a true convert of the Lord and has repented of many things in the 5 years of his Hebrew Christian life. He loves to attend church services, fellowship with many there, and much of the Lanyon family has revolved around the sacrifice of bringing him faithfully to church for every service. Please pray for his family and see his page at www.aprayernotebook.net/bernie.

There is more to tell about this year than a brief page front and back can contain. If you would like some further details, I will try to add some greater details linked on our family page: www.aprayernotebook.net/ctlanyons Here are some Newspaper Styled Headlines, followed by some personal comments from each of our family members.
