Top Left: In early 2021, we received word that Chris' sister Vicki was having health issues that became serious, calling for our trip to go to Ohio to visit her having heard she was hospitalized. While there we visited Mansfield Baptist Temple where we met a TBC supported Missionary of the past. This family graciously GAVE us two day-long tickets to "The Ark Encounter". It was a beautiful day, and this clipped portion of a high resolution picture so captuerd the beautiful face of Christine, I decided to make it the largest picture of this Edition 3 of her Memorial Calendar for 2025. The full-size photo with Ark-background is at: www.aprayernotebook.net/homeland/2021/20210705_1437ArkEncounter.jpg
Top Right: On our 19th anniversary, I decided to buy Christine 12 Red Roses for our August 13 anniversary that year, 2007. I used my Treo phone out of my pocket to quickly snap this picture as she entered our Caravan to go make some visits one day that month. I had learned from many occasions before (1)you can't snap a "posed" pirture of her without closed eyes, and (2)within a very short period of time flowers given to her soon became encouragements to other ladies she knew either in church, in nursing homes, or just to any business, or neighborhood contacts we had made. Sure enough, not one or two days later, only one remained for us to "enjoy" at home in a vase. After her heavenly promotion, NO PICTURE spoke so clearly of her heart of hearts, so I chose it for the centerpiece of her memorial service, and spoke of it's story.
Bottom Right: On several occasions, church beloved friends would gift to us a "time-share" On Cape Cod. This is a picture of us taking a "beach" stroll. We stayed at "The Cove at Yarmouth" and thoroughlly enjoyed the week. Though we have in our 36 years married together seldom taken extensive vacations -- each one was filled with joy, purpose and blessing. There are 3 important vacations every family ought to take and they are, in importance: 3.)The Greatness of American Landscapes including it's Historical Scenes; "Proclaim Liberty throughout the Land"-Lev. 25:10; 2.)The Honor of Famly Places and Reunions, Ex 20:12 "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you" ; and 1.)A Third World Mission Field Mission and It's Missionary Your Family Has Courted, Is. 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me." Both you and your Family will have learned the three greatest treasures life can bring to you and your whole family!!
