Top Left:This beautiful smile of Chris is in her back yard in Siam (also called Attica Junction), 1 mile outside of Attica, where she grew up, but this photo was in earlier days before our courtship, shared usually only by her photos! Her hair is a give away of the date of the picture. That smile could melt just about anyone who saw her with it! Another owner now occupies the house, but videos have captured it's beauty when we visited Mary Wise, her mother. It can be seen in this homeland clip https://aprayernotebook.net/homeland/1995/95d30Gary_VHS-part01-1hr.mp4 Go to 36:22 to see the Mary's home clip.

Top Right: January 20 or 21 every year found our family celebrating birthdays in a restaurant as Chris and Joseph would turn the page on another year. This year was 2021 or 2022 at Olive Garden in Manchester. The server happily snapped this picture for us, now everyone has grown adept at their own 'selfies' these days. [A horizontal flip for any of these photos/videos shows the proper perspective--not a problem with this server's view ;-) ]

Bottom Left: Four days after her 10/13/23 admission were the last days we could spend time with the wife/mother we all grew accustomed to for my 35 years with her. But the room was clean and had a spectacular view of Eastern CT and our Hartford City high rise buildings. An host of visitors came to visit her, and some I only heard about later, but each visit surely gave her great encouragement. Here we tried to make her comfortable, but it was not the room she cared to dwell in, though you could never tell it by a visit with her.

Bottom Right: Every year birthdays were special, because life is precious! Perhaps this is why she made so much of greeting cards everytime they showed up  in people's lives. Here David at about age 7 or 8 is having family fun with guests invited over for that celebration. Thanksgiving gatherings this year should remind us of such special family times. These are the essence of Family Love that is so highly celebrated here in America! Happy Thanksgiving EVERYONE!
