 * Doing the things in question 2 without answering question 1 affirmatively could mean that you are trusting in a salvation by your own works. You must understand the principles taught in Ephesians 2:8,9,& 10. Count on your good works to give you an inheritance in Heaven, but not citizenship.

How To Believe (KJV)

Romans 3: 23  
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
