Introduction to The Lord's Prayer [part 3 of 3]

which art in heaven

A humble, yet exalted, relationship- I pray from earth.

Psalm 113:4-6 God humbles Himself to behold us or notice our prayers.

The LORD is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. [5] Who is like the LORD our God, Who dwells on high, [6] Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in the heavens and in the earth?

Application: Every prayer heard of God is an example of the humility display of God- for me when I dislike His call to me to be humble and receptive to His will for any issue of life.

Yes. Indeed. His call is sometimes most mysterious. For a most outstanding study in detail on heaven, we recommend the study done by the wife of a couple who experienced the loss of their youngest 6 of 9 children in one tragic accident in 1994. Being a Godly family the couple sank deep into scripture to understand why God would allow such a tragedy by taking all of those 6 children home to HIMSELF that day. The resulting study on heaven done by Janet is one obvious reason we can understand today.

We have downloaded the entire composition for reading in detail later, and we'd encourage you to do the same to enrich your prayer experience.
